Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who are currently experiencing thoughts of suicide
- People with severe alcohol addiction for whom specialist treatment would be more appropriate
- People at risk of serious alcohol withdrawal symptoms that would require medical treatment — though participation may be possible after completing withdrawal treatment through the standard Swedish healthcare system
- People who have had a substance use disorder involving drugs other than alcohol or nicotine within the past six months
