Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a genetic condition that affects the light-sensing cells at the back of your eye (called photoreceptors).
• Your vision in the eye being studied falls within a specific range of vision loss — the exact range depends on which phase of the trial you are entering (confirm with trial site for which phase applies to you).
• The back of your eye (retina) has been examined and has areas that are suitable for receiving the cell treatment.

Who may not be able to join:

• You currently have active inflammation or an infection in your eye.
• You have glaucoma or another significant condition affecting your optic nerve.
• You have diabetic eye disease, including diabetic macular edema or diabetic retinopathy.
• You have a significant build-up of fluid in the central part of your retina (confirm with trial site).
• If you still have your natural lens in the eye being studied, you have a very high level of short-sightedness (greater than 8 diopters of myopia).
• You have had eye surgery within the 3 months before joining the trial.
• You have no light perception at all in your other eye (i.e., you only have vision in one eye).
• You currently have cancer, or have had cancer within the last 5 years — except for a type of skin cancer called basal cell carcinoma that has been fully treated.
• You currently have an active infection (bacterial, viral, or fungal) that could make it unsafe for you to receive medications that reduce immune system activity.
• You have previously received any cell therapy, gene therapy, or a retinal implant at any point in your life.
• You have previously had a bone marrow transplant or an organ transplant.
