  • People who have or have had a spreading (metastatic) solid tumour or blood cancer and are currently taking hormonal, maintenance, oral, or immunotherapy to stop the cancer from getting worse
  • People who have been diagnosed with chronic insomnia according to standard diagnostic criteria (DSM-5) (confirm with trial site)
  • People aged 18 years or older

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are not able to speak and write in English
  • People who have a sleep disorder other than insomnia (such as sleep apnea) that is not currently being treated
  • People who have epilepsy, a serious mental illness, suicidal thoughts, or other serious psychiatric conditions that are not currently being treated, or who have been admitted to a psychiatric hospital in the past year
  • People who are unwilling or unable to stop working night shifts during the trial
