  • People who have already started taking oral PrEP (a medication taken to reduce the risk of HIV infection), whether on a daily schedule or an event-based schedule, have picked up the medication at least once, and have taken at least one pill.
  • People who do not have HIV at the time of joining the study.

  • Cisgender men or women who have sex without condoms and also meet at least two of the same criteria listed above for the first group.
  • People who inject drugs and do so in ways that carry a higher risk of infection (such as sharing needles or other equipment).
