Group 1 – People with nocturia (waking at night to urinate):
- Women aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with urinary incontinence
- People who wake up during their main sleep period specifically to urinate, intending to return to sleep afterward
Group 2 – People without nocturia:
- Women aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with urinary incontinence, and who do not wake during the night to urinate
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been diagnosed with a sleep disorder
- People who have been diagnosed with a neurological disease
- People with chronic kidney disease
- People who have been diagnosed with diabetes
- People currently taking sleep medications
- People currently taking antidepressants
- People currently taking diuretic medications (water tablets)
- People currently taking any medication for urinary incontinence
- People currently on hormone replacement therapy
- People who are pregnant or who have given birth within the last six months
- People who have had a urinary tract infection in the last three months
- People with pelvic organ prolapse greater than stage 2 (confirm with trial site)
- People with a history of orthopedic injury to the pelvic area
- People who have had pelvic surgery within the last six months
- People with a history of cancer
