- People who had major surgery within 28 days before joining, or who have major surgery planned during the study
- People who have had another cancer (other than certain low-risk cancers such as cervical carcinoma in situ, certain skin cancers, localised prostate cancer, or ductal carcinoma in situ) within the past 5 years
- People with active hepatitis, active tuberculosis, or other serious infections currently requiring treatment
- People with a history of immune deficiency, certain autoimmune diseases (such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis), HIV infection, or a history of organ transplantation
- People with certain heart or brain blood vessel conditions, including unstable chest pain, certain heart rhythm problems, a heart attack within the last 6 months, heart failure, significant heart conduction problems, or a stroke or brain bleed within the last 6 months
- People with poorly controlled high blood pressure (above 160/100 mmHg despite medication), or a history of hypertensive crisis or hypertensive brain injury
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, people of childbearing potential who test positive for pregnancy at screening, or people unwilling to use effective contraception throughout the trial and for 6 months after finishing the study medication
- People whom the trial investigators consider unsuitable for the study for other reasons
