Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle), confirmed by a heart tissue biopsy and/or a special type of heart MRI scan
- You are 10 years old or older
- You are willing to have your heart rhythm monitored remotely using an ECG device
- You have given written consent to take part in the study
For healthy volunteers (people without myocarditis):
- You have no known history of myocarditis
- A blood or tissue sample from you has already been stored as part of a previous study called IMMUNORADAR
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a significant blockage in the arteries that supply your heart (confirm with trial site)
- If you are over 40 years old, you have not had a scan or test to check the arteries of your heart
- You are not willing or able to give written consent to take part
