Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with septic shock (a life-threatening condition where an infection causes dangerously low blood pressure and organ problems), diagnosed using the "Sepsis 3.0" medical guidelines
- You are 18 years old or older
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have a known allergy or bad reaction to Ginseng and Aconite Injection or any of its ingredients
- You have a serious ongoing illness that could affect your outcome, such as advanced cancer that cannot be treated, blood disorders, severe malnutrition, uncontrolled bleeding, or HIV
- You have had a serious heart problem in the last three months, such as a heart attack, heart failure at the most severe level, an unstable heart condition, or significant heart valve disease
- You have had certain heart or chest procedures in the last three months, including heart surgery, chest surgery, CPR, defibrillation (electric shock to restart the heart), or a serious physical injury
- You would receive the study treatment (Ginseng and Aconite Injection) for less than 48 hours
- Your medical team believes you are unlikely to survive the next 48 hours
- The trial doctor decides for any other reason that the trial is not appropriate for you (confirm with trial site)
