Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults aged 18 years or older, either male or female.
• People who experience shortness of breath when physically active or exerting themselves.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are unable to give informed consent to participate.
• People with a history of a specific type of heart failure where the heart's pumping function is reduced (known as HFrEF).
• People who have medical reasons that make a type of medication called SGLT2 inhibitors unsuitable for them — this includes a history of type 1 diabetes, a condition called ketoacidosis, a known allergy to SGLT2 inhibitors, current or planned use of SGLT2 inhibitors, or an active genital infection.
• People who have an irregular heart rhythm condition called atrial fibrillation.
• People who currently experience chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart (known as angina).
