Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) based on recognised medical classification guidelines
• Your rheumatoid arthritis disease activity is at a moderate level or below, based on a standard scoring system called DAS28 (confirm with trial site)
• You are currently being treated with a medication called Rituximab, and you have already completed at least your first course of treatment (two initial infusions)
• Your last Rituximab infusion was between 6 and 18 months before joining the trial
• If you take steroid medication (such as prednisone), you are taking no more than 10 mg per day in the 4 weeks before joining
• You are covered by a social insurance or healthcare system
• You are willing and able to sign a written consent form before the trial begins
• You are using an effective form of birth control for the duration of the study

Who may not be able to join:

• You have another autoimmune rheumatic disease in addition to RA (having Sjögren's disease alongside RA is acceptable)
• You are currently taking another targeted biological or specialist medication alongside Rituximab
• You have a known medical reason why you cannot receive Rituximab or a saline (saltwater) solution
• You have another significant medical condition that is not well controlled
• You have a known active infection, or a history of serious, repeated, or long-term infections
• Your blood test results show untreated tuberculosis, hepatitis B or C, low red blood cell levels, low white blood cell levels, or low levels of certain immune proteins (confirm with trial site)
• You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
• You have a current addiction to drugs or alcohol
• You are not able to attend follow-up appointments for the full 12 months of the study
• You are an adult who is legally under protection or whose freedom is restricted by a court or official decision
• You are currently taking part in, or are in an exclusion period from, another clinical trial
• You are unable to give informed consent — for example, due to a medical emergency or difficulty understanding the details of the trial
• You have difficulty reading, understanding, or communicating in French
