Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are right-handed, speak English, are between 18 and 60 years old, and have normal hearing while you sleep
- You either have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (a condition where breathing repeatedly stops during sleep) by a doctor, or a short questionnaire suggests you are at intermediate to high risk of having it
- You do not have any other sleep disorders apart from obstructive sleep apnea

- You are not currently receiving any treatment for sleep apnea
- Your Body Mass Index (BMI), a measure of body weight relative to height, is 40 or below
Who may not be able to join:

- You have a neurological or heart/metabolic disease or condition
- You are currently being treated for sleep apnea
- Your BMI is above 40
- You are left-handed or do not speak English
- You are under 18 or over 60 years old
