Who may be able to join
- Women aged 18 or older, regardless of whether they have gone through menopause
- People whose breast cancer has been confirmed through a tissue biopsy
- People whose tumour has been tested for hormone receptors (ER and PgR) and HER2 status, as is standard at their local hospital
- People with Stage I, II, or III breast cancer, with no sign that the cancer has spread to distant parts of the body
- People who are already planned to receive standard pre-surgery (neoadjuvant) treatment
- People who have tumour tissue available from the breast and/or lymph nodes taken at the start of the study
- People who are able to fill in a daily food and nutrition diary
- People who have been medically cleared to take part in non-competitive physical activity

Who may not be able to join

- People with locally advanced, inflammatory, or Stage IV breast cancer
- People whose tumour is smaller than 1 cm and whose lymph nodes are not affected (confirm with trial site if unsure about tumour size or node status)
- People with ongoing chronic illnesses or bone/joint problems that could make it difficult to follow a diet and exercise programme
- People with a personal history of eating disorders
- People who are already engaged in competitive or very intense sport, or who would not be able to follow the study's exercise schedule
