- People who are 18 years of age or older at the time of signing the consent form.
- People who have locally advanced or returning/spreading breast cancer and who have not previously received a type of treatment called a TROP2-ADC (antibody-drug conjugate targeting TROP2).
- People whose general physical health and ability to carry out daily activities falls within an acceptable range, as measured by a standard medical scale (ECOG score of 0–2).

- Liver function: liver enzyme levels within acceptable limits (higher limits allowed if liver metastasis is present).
- Kidney function: creatinine levels within acceptable limits, or kidney filtration rate at an adequate level.
- Heart function: the heart's pumping ability is at least 50%, as measured by a heart scan.
- People of reproductive potential who have a negative pregnancy test and who agree to use effective non-hormonal contraception during the study and for at least 3 months after the last dose.
- People who agree to attend follow-up appointments as required by the study.
