Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who have had heart bypass surgery, heart valve surgery, or both, and who develop a condition called vasoplegic syndrome within the first 24 hours after the operation — this means their blood pressure drops too low and does not improve after receiving at least 1 litre of intravenous fluids.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

- People who develop reduced blood flow to the intestines after surgery.

- People with a history of cancer.
