Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have frequent extra heartbeats (called PVCs) that happen on their own, with no known cause, making up more than 5% of your heartbeats on multiple 24-hour heart monitor recordings
- Your heart's structure and function appear normal on an ultrasound of the heart (echocardiogram)
- A special heart scan (cardiac MRI) shows no scarring or damage to the heart muscle
- A test looking at your heart's arteries (coronary angiography) came back normal, ruling out blockages
- Your blood tests show normal salt and mineral levels, and your kidneys are working normally
- You are willing and able to attend follow-up appointments and adjust medication doses as required by the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a structural problem with your heart (such as a heart defect or disease affecting the heart's shape or walls)
- You have been diagnosed with heart disease caused by blocked arteries, confirmed by an artery test
- You have a history of serious, sustained abnormal heart rhythms coming from the lower chambers of the heart
- The pumping strength of your heart's left side is below 40% (confirm with trial site)
- You have been diagnosed with certain inherited heart rhythm conditions, such as Brugada syndrome or Long QT syndrome, or similar conditions
- You have a medical reason why you cannot take a specific group of heart rhythm medications called "class IC agents" (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently taking other medications used to treat heart rhythm problems, or drugs known to increase the risk of abnormal heart rhythms
