Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 20 and 60 years old
- You are any gender
- You have been diagnosed with chronic rhinosinusitis (long-term sinus inflammation) by an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist
- You have had two or more of the following main symptoms for at least 12 weeks: pain or pressure on your face, blocked nose, thick or discoloured nasal discharge (from the front or back of the nose), or reduced/lost sense of smell
- Alternatively, you have had one of the main symptoms above plus at least two of the following for at least 12 weeks: headache, fever, tooth/jaw pain, bad breath, ear pain or pressure, or cough
Who may not be able to join:
- You have nasal polyps (small growths inside the nose)
- You have a medical condition where ultrasound treatment is not safe for you (confirm with trial site)
- You have metal implants in your face
- You have a tumour, cyst, or cancer affecting your face or head
- You have significant difficulties with thinking, memory, or understanding
- You have previously had surgery on your nose
- You have a broken or fractured bone in your face
- You have reduced ability to feel heat on your skin
- You have tissue in your face that has a reduced blood supply (confirm with trial site)
- You have skin allergies or skin sores/wounds on your face
