Who may be able to join
- People who have been confirmed by tissue testing to have invasive breast cancer at clinical stage II or III.
- People aged between 18 and 70 years.
- People who are generally well enough to carry out daily activities with no or minimal limitations (as measured by a standard health performance scale called ECOG, scoring 0 or 1).
- People whose breast cancer has been confirmed by tissue testing to be HER2-positive.
- People whose heart is pumping at or above 55% efficiency (as measured by a heart function test called LVEF).
- People who have at least one tumour that can be measured using standard imaging guidelines.

- People who are not pregnant or breastfeeding; women who could become pregnant must agree to use an approved form of contraception throughout the study treatment and for at least 3 months after the last dose of the study drug.
- People who are able to understand and are willing to sign a written consent form agreeing to take part.
Who may not be able to join

- People who have stage IV (metastatic) breast cancer, meaning the cancer has spread to other parts of the body.
- People who have a second, separate cancer diagnosis, except for fully treated skin cancer.
- People who had a major surgery unrelated to breast cancer within 4 weeks before joining the trial, or who have not fully recovered from such a surgery.
- People who have had serious heart or blood vessel problems in the 6 months before starting the trial, including severe heart failure, heart attack, stroke, blood clots in the lungs, unstable chest pain, or a heart rhythm problem requiring treatment; or who have a diagnosed heart muscle disease such as dilated or hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; or who have certain heart rhythm abnormalities or an irregular heart rate condition called atrial fibrillation at a significant level; or who have high blood pressure that cannot be adequately managed (confirm with trial site).
- People who are known to be allergic to any of the components of the drugs used in this trial.
- People who have a known history of immune system deficiency, including a positive HIV test, other inherited or acquired immune conditions, or a history of organ transplantation.
