Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), confirmed either by a tissue or cell sample test, or by meeting recognised medical diagnostic guidelines for this type of cancer
- People whose liver cancer has continued to grow or spread after receiving at least one round of systemic (whole-body) cancer treatment
- People whose cancer tests positive for overexpression of a protein called FGF19, as confirmed by a central laboratory
- People who are relatively well and able to carry out daily activities, as measured by a standard health scale (ECOG score of 0 or 1)
- People whose blood tests show their organs (such as liver, kidneys, and bone marrow) are functioning at a level that meets the trial's requirements
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously been treated with a type of drug that targets FGFR4 or related FGFR pathways
- People who have had a serious allergic reaction to any ingredient in the trial drugs (ABSK-011 or ABSK043)
- People who have had, or currently have, a condition where the liver is unable to remove toxins from the blood, causing brain problems (hepatic encephalopathy), or who have cancer that has spread to the brain and is not being effectively managed
- People who currently have another type of cancer that is growing or requires active treatment
- People who have a known history of HIV infection
