Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, a type of liver cancer called hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)
- You are already planned to receive one of two types of liver treatment — a procedure that delivers chemotherapy directly to the liver (TACE) or one that delivers radiation to the liver (SIRT) — as part of your normal care
- You are able to have a liver MRI scan
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a medical device or implant (such as a pacemaker or certain metal implants) or severe fear of enclosed spaces that makes having an MRI scan unsafe for you
- You have had a known allergic reaction or bad response to a type of MRI dye (called a gadolinium-based contrast agent) used to make scan images clearer
- Your kidneys are not working well enough — specifically, your kidney function score (eGFR) is below 30 mL/min/1.73m² (confirm with trial site if unsure about your kidney function level)
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are not able to understand or sign a consent form for any reason
