Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who were between 18 and 65 years old at the time they were admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU)
- People who stayed in the ICU for at least 48 hours
- People who have been discharged from the ICU within the last 2 years
- People who have been diagnosed with diabetes and/or heart failure or coronary artery disease (a condition affecting the blood vessels of the heart)
- People who are able to provide written consent to participate
- People who have a home internet connection and a smartphone with internet and Bluetooth capability
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a legal guardian making decisions on their behalf
- People without access to a smartphone or internet
- People who have not been diagnosed with a cardiovascular (heart-related) disease or diabetes
- People who have an implanted pacemaker or defibrillator
- People who have known allergies to the materials used in the wearable devices used in this trial
- People who were transferred from an ICU outside of the Medical University of Vienna
- People who are currently experiencing homelessness
- People who live outside of Austria
