Preliminary phase – People with intellectual disabilities:

Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People with significant physical or sensory difficulties that would prevent them from completing the assessments.
- People who do not have a sufficient understanding of French to complete the tests.
- People with a serious ongoing medical condition or a significant history of alcohol use (defined as regularly drinking 3 or more drinks per day, or having a history of alcohol withdrawal).
- People who have previously had a stroke, severe head injury, or cancer.
- People whose long-term medications have been changed within the 8 weeks before their assessment.
- People who have refused to take part, or whose legal guardian has refused on their behalf.
- Pregnant women, women currently in labour, or women who are breastfeeding.
- People who are currently held in detention or otherwise deprived of their liberty by a legal or administrative decision.
- People currently receiving involuntary psychiatric care under specific French public health law (confirm with trial site).
