Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are able to give their informed consent to participate
- People aged between 18 and 85 years old
- People who have a type of irregular heart rhythm called paroxysmal atrial fibrillation that occurs frequently (at least 1% of the time as recorded by a device)
- People who have moderate to severe sleep apnea, meaning their breathing stops and starts at least 15 times per hour during sleep

- People who have had a heart procedure to treat their atrial fibrillation (called an ablation) within the last 6 months

- People whose daytime sleepiness could put others at risk, such as those who work in safety-critical jobs like driving or operating heavy machinery
- People who are planning to have a heart ablation procedure during the study period
- People who are already using a treatment for their sleep apnea other than a CPAP machine
- People who had their heart device implanted less than 6 months ago
- People whose sleep apnea is caused by signals from the brain rather than a physical airway blockage (known as central sleep apnea) (confirm with trial site)
