Who might be able to join this trial:

For young men who have sex with men (YMSM):

• Men who are Vietnamese, aged 18 to 24 years old
• Men who report having had anal sex with another man in the last 6 months
• Men who are HIV-negative or do not know their HIV status
• Men who own a smartphone
• Men who currently live in Hanoi
• Men who can read and understand Vietnamese without help from others
• Men who are willing to give their informed consent to participate
• Men taking part in the main study phase (the randomised controlled trial) must also not currently be taking PrEP (a medication used to help prevent HIV)

For other key stakeholders (such as health workers or community organisation staff):

• People who have worked on health issues related to men who have sex with men, at an HIV/PrEP clinic or a community-based organisation, for at least 6 months
• People who are willing to give their informed consent to participate

Who may not be able to join:

For young men who have sex with men (YMSM):

• Men who are unwilling to provide their contact information (applies to the beta testing and main study phases)
• Men who are currently enrolled in another HIV testing or PrEP program or intervention (applies to the main study phase only)
