  • People experiencing a severe acute psychiatric episode that makes cooperation with sessions impossible (such as strong opposition, agitation, acute delusions, hallucinations, or panic attacks).
  • People with heart conditions that are not well controlled (such as chest pain, heart failure, or irregular heart rhythms).
  • People with high blood pressure that is not well controlled (blood pressure above 140/90 mmHg in people already being treated for high blood pressure) (confirm with trial site).
  • People who have an implanted medical device, such as a pacemaker or defibrillator.
  • People who are under legal guardianship or who are not free to make their own decisions.
