Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 59 years old (male or female)
- You have been experiencing neck pain for more than 3 months

Who may not be able to join:
- Your blood test shows low hemoglobin levels (a sign of possible anemia — confirm with trial site)

- You currently have a fever
- You have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia (a chronic widespread pain condition)
- Imaging (such as an X-ray or scan) has shown serious structural problems in your neck, such as fractures, infections, tumors, or other significant abnormalities beyond normal age-related wear
- You have had surgery on your neck or spine in the past
- You have a tumor, open wound, or skin infection in the area where needles would be inserted
- You have a blood disorder or are currently taking blood-thinning medications
- You have had allergic reactions to acupuncture, metal, or have certain skin sensitivities such as a tendency to form raised scars (keloids)
- You have heart disease or diabetes that is not well controlled
- You have received a specific type of injection therapy (pharmacopuncture) to the upper shoulder/neck area in the past 6 months
- You have taken anti-inflammatory medications (such as ibuprofen) within the past 2 weeks
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
