  • You have been diagnosed with cocaine use disorder according to standard medical guidelines (DSM-5)

  • You are planned to go through an inpatient (hospital-based) cocaine detox programme within the next four weeks
  • You are covered by a national health insurance or social security scheme

Who may not be able to join:

  • You currently have a diagnosis of opioid addiction or addiction to other stimulant drugs such as amphetamines, methamphetamines, cathinones, or methylphenidate
  • You have an unstable mental health condition or serious physical illness that the trial doctor feels would make it unsafe or unsuitable for you to take part (confirm with trial site)
  • You are currently taking any of the following medications: methylphenidate, modafinil, solriamfetol, melatonin, pitolisant, naltrexone, or bupropion
  • You are under legal guardianship (i.e., someone else has legal responsibility for your decisions)
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding — women who could become pregnant will be given a pregnancy test before joining
  • You are currently detained or have had your freedom restricted by a court or government authority
