Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 21 years or older
  • People who identify as Black or African American
  • People who have been diagnosed with invasive prostate cancer (any stage from I to IV) within the last 5 years
  • People who have not had surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation treatment in the past 3 months
  • People who have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with reliable internet, or who are willing to attend a weekly in-person study appointment and take part in a weekly phone call
  • People who are experiencing significant sleep problems, as measured by a score of 10 or higher on a standard insomnia questionnaire called the Insomnia Severity Index
  • People who are able to read and understand English

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who work in a job where having restricted or disrupted sleep could put themselves or others at risk of harm
  • People who currently work shift work (for example, rotating or overnight shifts)
  • People who have been diagnosed with a severe or major psychiatric (mental health) condition
  • People who have been diagnosed with a seizure disorder, or who have had a seizure within the past 12 months
  • People who are not able to provide informed consent to participate in the study
