- People whose memory and thinking problems are primarily caused by something other than Alzheimer's disease, such as significant stroke-related damage, Lewy Body disease, Parkinson's disease, or Frontotemporal dementia.
- People with significant ongoing psychiatric conditions or substance use problems.
