Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer) confirmed by a tissue or cell sample test.

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose liver cancer is a specific less common type, such as cholangiocarcinoma, mixed hepatocellular carcinoma, sarcomatoid hepatocellular carcinoma, or fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma.
• People who have a history of any other type of cancer besides liver cancer.
• People whose liver cancer has come back after surgery and who have already received further treatment of any kind.
• People who have previously had an organ transplant or bone marrow transplant, or who have a disease or condition that affects the immune system.
• People whose scans show that the cancer has spread into blood vessels, bile ducts, or to other parts of the body outside the liver.
• People who have a significant build-up of fluid in the abdomen requiring drainage, or uncontrolled fluid around the lungs or heart.
• People who have serious problems with their heart, lungs, nervous system, digestive system, or kidneys.
• People who have had a gastrointestinal bleed in the past six months, or who have certain related conditions such as bowel perforation, abdominal abscess, or a known tendency to bleed in the digestive tract.
• People who have difficulty taking oral medications due to conditions such as inability to swallow, persistent diarrhoea, or bowel obstruction, or who have a known allergy to the trial medications (Camrelizumab or Apatinib mesylate).
• Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or people of reproductive capacity who are unwilling or unable to use effective contraception during the trial.
• People who have a mental health disorder or a history of misuse of psychiatric or psychoactive substances.
• People who have had a blood clot or blockage event in the past six months, such as a stroke, mini-stroke, brain bleed, or pulmonary embolism.
• People who do not have the legal capacity to consent to participation.
• People whom the trial investigators consider unsuitable for any other reason.
