Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia (FM) using the standard 2016 diagnostic guidelines
- You are 18 years of age or older
- Your fibromyalgia is moderate to severe, has not improved with non-drug treatments, and you have not previously tried the recommended medications for fibromyalgia
- Your pain level rates 4 or higher on a scale of 0–10

Who may not be able to join:

- You have been diagnosed with epilepsy or depression that requires antidepressant medication
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have serious ongoing health conditions that are not well controlled, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, or significant heart problems
- You have another pain condition, either short-term or long-term, in addition to fibromyalgia
