Who may be able to join
Model A – Patient participants:
- People aged over 50 years
- People who are fluent in Danish
- People who have completed at least 7 years of schooling
- People who have been diagnosed with either mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or Alzheimer's disease (AD) at the SUH memory clinic within the 6 months before joining the trial
Model A – Cognitively healthy controls (people without a memory diagnosis):

Model A – Patients:
- People whose vision or hearing is significantly impaired to the point where it would prevent participation in the AI analysis
- People whose score on a standard memory and thinking test (called the MMSE) is below 16
- People who have another condition that is expected to affect memory or thinking, such as depression
- People who are not able to give their own consent to participate
- People who drink more than 21 standard alcoholic drinks per week
- People who had a speech or language problem before their current condition began
Model A – Cognitively healthy controls:
- People whose vision or hearing is significantly impaired to the point where it would prevent participation in the AI analysis
- People whose scores on standard memory and thinking tests (MMSE below 26 and ACE below 90) fall below the set thresholds
- People with clinical, laboratory, or brain scan findings that could affect thinking and memory
- People with a known condition expected to affect thinking and memory
- People who had a speech or language problem before their current condition began
- People who drink more than 21 standard alcoholic drinks per week
Model B:
- People whose vision or hearing is significantly impaired to the point where it would prevent participation in the AI analysis
- People whose score on a standard memory and thinking test (called the MMSE) is below 16
- People who are not able to give their own consent to participate
- People who have a concurrent diagnosis of psychosis or a severe psychiatric condition other than depression
- People who had a speech or language problem before their current condition began
