Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia (FM) based on the 2016 updated diagnostic criteria for the condition
• People who are 18 years of age or older
• People with moderate to severe FM symptoms that have not improved enough with non-drug treatments, and who have not yet tried the currently recommended medications for FM
• People whose pain score is 4 or higher out of 10 on a standard pain rating scale at the start of the trial
• People whose liver enzyme levels (two specific markers checked via a blood test) are within an acceptable range — less than twice the upper limit of normal
• People whose kidneys are functioning at a sufficient level, as measured by a standard blood test (confirm with trial site)
• People who are willing to sign a consent form and have the mental and communication ability to follow all study requirements

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have had an allergic reaction to pregabalin, toludesvenlafaxine, or any ingredients in these medications
• People who have a history of epilepsy, or depression that requires antidepressant medication
• People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who have serious ongoing health conditions, including high blood pressure that is not well controlled, diabetes that is not well controlled, or significant heart problems
• People who have any other pain condition — whether short-term or long-term — that is separate from their fibromyalgia
