Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children aged 15 years old or younger
- Children who are staying in a pediatric intensive care unit after heart surgery
- Children whose doctor has ordered a fluid expansion (a specific amount of fluid given through a drip) of 10ml per kilogram of body weight

- Children where ultrasound imaging of the heart is not possible, either because of poor image quality or because the child is too restless to remain still during the scan
- Children, parents, or legal guardians who have expressed they do not wish to participate
