  • People whose main health concern is tinnitus — meaning they hear sounds in their ears or inside their head when no external sound is present.
  • People with long-term tinnitus lasting more than 6 months, a tinnitus impact score of 38 or higher on a standard questionnaire (called the THI), and whose tinnitus has not improved with standard medications.
  • People who are outpatients at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital and are able to attend 5 consecutive days of the study treatment.
  • People whose tinnitus tone falls within a frequency range of 125 Hz to 8000 Hz (confirm with trial site if unsure how this applies).
