Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) or an unexplained liver condition, including those who drink moderate amounts of alcohol (up to 60g per day for men or 40g per day for women)
• Male patients who have type 2 diabetes or obesity and who carry at least three specific genetic variants linked to liver disease (in genes called PNPLA3, TM6SF2, and MBOAT7) (confirm with trial site)
• People who are willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study

Who may not be able to join:

• People who drink more than 60g of alcohol per day (men) or more than 40g per day (women)
• People who have chronic viral hepatitis (such as hepatitis B or C) or an autoimmune liver condition
• People who have been previously diagnosed with an inherited liver disease that raises the risk of liver cancer, such as hereditary hemochromatosis, Wilson's disease, or Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency
• People who are taking medications known to cause fat build-up or damage in the liver
• People who had already been diagnosed with liver cancer before the study start date
• People who have another serious medical condition where life expectancy is estimated to be less than two years
