Who may be able to join

  • A normal mammogram result within the 90 days before enrolling in the trial.
  • Breasts that are classified as "heterogeneously dense" (Class C) or "extremely dense" (Class D) on a mammogram report.
  • A 5-year breast cancer risk score of more than 3%, as estimated by a tool called MRS.
  • Female.
  • Between 25 and 55 years of age (inclusive).

Who may not be able to join

  • A personal history of breast cancer or a specific non-invasive breast condition called LCIS, or currently having either of these conditions, where that history could interfere with the trial (confirm with trial site).
  • Having previously had an MRI scan used to screen the breasts.
  • Being known to carry a BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene change, or any other known high-risk genetic marker for breast cancer.
  • Currently taking any medication to reduce the risk of breast cancer (known as chemoprevention).
  • Having breast implants.
  • Currently breastfeeding.
