  • People with a birth defect affecting the ear, or a deformed or injured ear
  • People who have had discharge of blood, pus, or fluid from the ear in the past 6 months
  • People with earwax that may interfere with a specific study test (confirm with trial site)
  • People who experienced sudden hearing loss in the past 6 months
  • People who wear an electromagnetic medical device (such as a pacemaker — confirm with trial site)
  • People with other medical conditions or medications that, in the opinion of the lead study doctor, could affect safety or data collection
