Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are able to understand the study and are willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
• You are between 18 and 75 years old (inclusive), any gender
• You have been diagnosed with nasal polyps in both nostrils, along with long-term sinus inflammation (chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps)
• You have had a blocked nose for at least 4 weeks, plus at least one of these symptoms: runny or discoloured nasal discharge, pressure or pain in your head or face, or reduced/lost sense of smell
• The size and extent of your nasal polyps meets a minimum score level when assessed by a doctor (confirm with trial site)
• You have moderate to severe nasal blockage that has been consistently scored at a certain level over the screening period (confirm with trial site)
• Your nasal polyps have persisted even after taking steroid tablets or injections in the past 2 years, OR you cannot take steroids due to medical reasons or side effects, OR you have had nasal polyp removal surgery in the last 6 months but the polyps have come back
• You have been using a steroid nasal spray at the same dose for at least 4 weeks before the study starts
• You have used a specific steroid nasal spray (mometasone furoate) as instructed at least 80% of the time during the lead-in period (at least 14 days of use)

Who may not be able to join:

• You have other nasal conditions or symptoms happening at the same time
• You have an acute upper respiratory infection at the time of screening that may affect nasal symptom scores
• You have had a serious infection requiring hospital treatment or IV antibiotics in the last 4 weeks, or an active infection requiring antibiotic tablets in the last 2 weeks, that has not yet cleared up
• You currently have or are suspected to have a parasitic infection (such as intestinal worms)
• You have a known or suspected history of a weakened immune system, or have had certain serious, rare infections in the past
• You have any severe or unstable health condition that the doctor believes could affect your safety or ability to complete the study — this includes serious heart, stomach, liver, kidney, nerve, muscle, hormone, blood, or mental health conditions
• You have used traditional Chinese medicine or proprietary Chinese medicines for sinus problems within 1 week before screening
• You have taken steroid tablets or injections recently (within 4–6 weeks before joining, depending on the type of steroid)
• You have received certain biologic injection treatments (such as dupilumab or omalizumab) within approximately 10 weeks before joining, or within 5 half-lives of the medicine — whichever is longer
• You have taken immune-suppressing medications recently (within 4 weeks or 5 half-lives, whichever is longer)
• You have recently started a type of allergy/asthma tablet called a leukotriene receptor antagonist within 4 weeks before joining (those already on a stable dose for 4+ weeks may still be eligible)
• You also have asthma and your lung function is measured at 50% or less of what would be expected for someone your age and size (confirm with trial site)
• You are known to be allergic or sensitive to any ingredient in the study drug or the mometasone furoate nasal spray
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding
• The doctor overseeing the trial decides for any other reason that joining would not be appropriate for you
