  • All diagnoses must be confirmed through recognised medical tests, which may include heart ultrasound (echocardiography), cardiac MRI, blood tests, or tissue analysis where appropriate

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have more than one type of heart muscle disease, or multiple overlapping heart risk factors, at the same time
  • People who are unable to undergo a cardiac MRI scan due to medical reasons (confirm with trial site)
  • People whose MRI scan images are not clear enough to allow accurate analysis
  • People whose medical records are incomplete, making it impossible to confirm a definitive diagnosis
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People who are unable to give informed consent to participate
