- Women whose cesarean birth becomes an emergency or whose surgery changes unexpectedly to an emergency procedure
- Women with a high-risk pregnancy or serious pregnancy- or health-related complications that require intensive medical management (for example, severe preeclampsia, major bleeding risk, or unstable serious illness)
- People with a known psychiatric condition, or who are currently taking medications that may significantly affect how anxiety is measured, as determined by the clinical team
- People who have communication difficulties that would prevent them from taking part, such as severe vision or hearing impairment or cognitive difficulties, or who are unable to complete the questionnaires
- People who do not have access to a smartphone, or who are unwilling or unable to use QR code materials (which are needed for the intervention to be delivered)
- People who do not wish to take part, or who choose to withdraw their consent at any point
