Who may be able to join
- People who are over 50 years of age.
- People who have been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) related to Alzheimer's disease, based on recognised international guidelines (NIA-AA, 2024).
- People who score between 22 and 30 on a standard memory and thinking test called the MMSE (exceptions may apply for people with fewer than 5 years of formal education — confirm with trial site).
- People who have noticed a change in their memory or thinking compared to how they used to be, lasting more than 6 months in the past year, and/or where this change has been confirmed by a family member or doctor.

- People who are receiving medication treatment in line with current medical guidelines.
Who may not be able to join

- People who have been diagnosed with a significant brain or nervous system condition other than Alzheimer's disease.
- People who have moderate or severe depression (based on a standard assessment tool), or any other serious mental health condition.
- People who are currently taking dietary supplements that contain isoflavones (a type of plant-based compound found in some soy products and supplements).
- People who have, or have had, a cancer or tumour that is affected by hormones.
- People who have been diagnosed with significant disease affecting the blood vessels in the brain.
- People who have a serious ongoing illness that would make it difficult to complete the study.
