Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years, of any gender
- People who have been diagnosed with primary colon or rectal cancer (a specific type called adenocarcinoma) at an early to intermediate stage (Stage I, II, or III), and who are planned to have surgery to remove the cancer with the aim of a cure

- People whose cancer has not spread to other parts of the body, including the liver, based on pre-surgery tests

- People, or their legal representative, who agree to take part and sign a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose post-surgery tissue analysis shows the cancer is not the specific type (adenocarcinoma) this trial is studying, or that the cancer had already spread

- People who have previously had liver surgery or a liver transplant
- People who pass away within 30 days after surgery
