Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who were designated female at birth
- People between 40 and 60 years of age
- People who are able to give informed consent and do not have an intellectual disability
- People whose medication regimen has stayed the same for at least the past 3 months
- People who have used cannabis less than once a month for the past year and are willing to avoid using it for the next 3 months
- People who have not taken any supplements and have not made changes to supplement use in the past 3 months
- People who own a smartphone
- People who have access to Zoom through a secure, stable internet connection
- People who are perimenopausal or menopausal
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently taking antidepressant, anti-anxiety, or antipsychotic medication
- People experiencing severe depression, significant physical symptoms of depression, or current thoughts of suicide
- People who have psychosis, or who have a family history of psychosis
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who are currently undergoing chemotherapy
- People who have low blood pressure (hypotension)
- People who are required to undergo drug testing for work or any other reason
- People who have used illicit drugs in the past 3 months (cannabis is noted as not considered illicit for this criterion)
- People who drink heavily, defined as having 4 or more alcoholic drinks more than 4 times per week
- People who have international or air travel planned for more than one week within the next 3 months
- People who have a coconut allergy
