Who may be able to join
- People who are between 18 and 69 years of age.
- People who are postmenopausal, confirmed through a blood test measuring estrogen levels or other clinical assessment.

Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People who are under 18 or over 69 years of age.
- People whose primary tumor is larger than the T2 category (greater than 5cm), or who have more extensive lymph node involvement classified as N2.
- People whose breast cancer is of a type called infiltrating lobular carcinoma, or another non-invasive breast cancer type.
- People who have previously received hormone-based therapy or chemotherapy given before surgery (known as neoadjuvant treatment).
- People who have significant other health conditions that would make it unsafe to undergo general anaesthesia or that could put their safety at risk.
- People whose cancer is found in more than one separate area of the breast (multifocal or multicentric disease), as identified by imaging or tissue testing.
