Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older who have had at least one ECG (a heart rhythm test) and one echocardiogram (a heart ultrasound) recorded within the Yale New Haven Health System
- People who have been diagnosed with a type of heart failure known as HFpEF or HFmrEF (heart failure where the heart muscle stiffens or has mildly reduced pumping ability)
- People who took part in the Phase I TRACE-AI Study and had AI-assisted ECG and echocardiogram screening within the past 36 months
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously chosen to opt out of research studies
- People who have had testing for cardiac amyloid (a specific heart condition involving protein buildup) within the past 36 months
- People who have been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (a thickened heart muscle condition) or end-stage kidney disease
- People who are pregnant
- People who are unable or unwilling to give their informed consent to participate
- People who do not speak English, or people with cognitive difficulties that would make it hard to understand the consent forms and on-screen instructions, which are provided in English only
