- You have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) confirmed by a laboratory examination of tissue
- You are older than 18 years of age
- You have had surgery to completely remove your liver cancer, with no cancer cells left at the edges of the removed tissue (known as a "clear margin" surgery)

- Your surgery did not fully remove the cancer, meaning some cancer cells were left behind at the surgical edges
- Your tissue samples are in poor condition (for example, faded, folded, or damaged) and cannot be used for digital scanning or analysis
