Who might be able to join this trial:

• Children between 5 and 10 years old
• Children who have not received any sedation or anaesthetic medication through a drip in the past 12 hours
• Children who are expected to stay in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) for at least 48 to 72 hours
• Children who are awake and able to communicate
• Children with a full score on the Glasgow Coma Scale, a standard medical measure of consciousness (confirm with trial site)
• Children who are not currently in pain, as assessed using the Wong-Baker FACES Pain Rating Scale (a simple picture-based pain tool)
• Children whose parent or legal guardian has provided written consent to participate
• Children and their parent or guardian who are able to communicate in Turkish
• Children with no medical reasons preventing them from taking part in non-medication, non-interactive activities

Who may not be able to join:

• Children who are on a breathing machine or have a breathing tube in place
• Children with a hearing impairment
• Children with a visual impairment
• Children with limited movement or function in their hands
• Children with a severe or profound intellectual disability
• Children with epilepsy or a history of seizures
• Children who are severely underweight
• Children with a long-term lung or breathing condition
• Children with a long-term heart or cardiovascular condition
• Children who have surgical implants
• Children with osteoporosis (a condition affecting bone strength)
• Children with a diagnosed sleep disorder
• Children who are currently using sleep medication
• Children with any physical or mental health condition that prevents them from communicating
