For unpaid caregivers:

  • You are an unpaid (informal) caregiver for an older adult who has been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (a condition causing joint inflammation and pain)

  • You have a serious cognitive (thinking or memory) problem that would prevent you from taking part
  • You are currently experiencing a severe mental health crisis
  • There are other personal circumstances that would make it very difficult for you to complete the study activities and follow-up appointments
