Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Male patients between 30 and 75 years of age
  • People who have recently had a heart procedure called a coronary angioplasty (where a blocked artery in the heart is reopened), done for either a heart attack or stable chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart
  • People who were medically stable after the heart procedure and survived the hospital stay where it was performed

Who may not be able to join:

  • People with certain neurological (nervous system) conditions known to affect sexual function, such as spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson's disease
  • People with poorly controlled diabetes (confirm with trial site regarding the specific blood sugar measurement used to assess this)
  • People with more than two serious long-term health conditions affecting major organs, such as severe kidney, liver, or lung disease
  • People who regularly take more than three different medications on a daily basis
  • People who have not been sexually active or do not have a sexual partner
  • People who are unwilling or unable to sign the consent form or complete the study questionnaires
  • People with a serious mental health condition that would interfere with taking part in the study
  • People with certain hormonal conditions, such as an untreated hormonal imbalance affecting male sex hormones, or an active thyroid condition
  • People who experienced serious complications after the heart procedure, such as another heart attack, a stroke, or heart failure
