Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years
- People who are scheduled for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) heart surgery
- People with a body weight that falls within a healthy to moderate range (BMI between 18.5 and 35 kg/m²)

- People who have a known allergy or medical reason preventing the use of the study medications tafalgin or morphine, or any related opioid medicines
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with current or prolonged heavy use of alcohol, barbiturates, opioids, or benzodiazepines
- People currently taking a type of medication called MAO inhibitors, or who stopped taking them less than 14 days ago
- People with severe liver disease (cirrhosis, Child-Pugh class C)
- People with serious kidney failure currently requiring dialysis or a similar kidney replacement treatment
- People with a cancer that has not been surgically removed
- People with a serious unexplained abdominal pain condition at the time of joining
- People currently taking part in another clinical trial
- People with significant suppression of brain and nervous system function from any cause, other than acute poisoning
- People with severe chronic lung disease (COPD stage III) or asthma that is currently flaring up
- People with a psychiatric, physical, or other condition that would prevent reliable assessment of their responses or ability to follow the trial requirements
- People who experience serious blood pressure or circulation instability after surgery requiring high doses of heart-supporting medications or mechanical heart support (confirm with trial site for specific thresholds)
- People who choose not to participate
- People with any other significant medical condition or history that, in the treating doctor's judgement, makes participation unsuitable
